Naturopathic medicine is the art and science of blending conventional medicine and its understanding of physiology, biochemistry and disease with alternative and traditional medicines and their focus on health, prevention, and bringing vitality back to the body.

Naturopathic medicine uses many tools to help support the body and its innate ability to heal itself, including:

Lifestyle counselling
Nutritional counselling
Herbal medicine
Mind-body counselling
Labwork including basic blood work, hormone testing, food sensitivity testing etc.
Pharmaceutical prescriptions when necessary (including Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy).

These modalities are then used together with the information from a patient’s comprehensive health intake and any relevant labwork to come up with a holistic treatment plan.  To find out more, click here.
